Protecting the confidentiality of personal information is important to AAMC, and is fundamental to the way we conduct business. AAMC is cognisant of privacy issues and the provisions of the Privacy Act 1988 and retaining the complete and ongoing trust our clients.

Australian Accident Management Commercial Pty Ltd (AAMC) are independent motor and machinery loss adjusters, and collect information on behalf of insurance companies in order to assess insurance loss under the terms and conditions of the insurance policy.

Where possible we will collect personal information directly from you. The personal information collected and maintained by AAMC comprises your name, address, contact details and information specific to the subject loss assessment and is used for the purposes of assessing your claim under you're the insurance policy.

Without this personal information the assessment and repairs may be delayed or not conducted.

Personal information for the purposes of loss assessment and repair specified above may be shared on a confidential basis with but not limited to:

• loss adjusters and assessors;
• repairers and suppliers;
• investigators and recovery agents;
• legal advisors;
• contracted advisors and service providers;
• professional and other organisations;
• other parties as required by law and/or
• the agent of any of these.

We will retain the content of any e-mail that you send us, if we believe that we have a legal requirement to do so. Your e-mail message content may be monitored by our employees for security issues including where e-mail abuse is suspected; our response to you may be monitored for quality assurance issues.
